A participatory musical presentation of how science and the Writings of ‘Abdu’l-Bahá and Bahá’u’lláh connect joy, the body, singing, community service, and the spirit.
About the Presenters: Amy Stephen grew up in Vancouver and is a composer, conductor, recording artist and educator. She has a Music degree from UBC, as well as a degree in education. She spent 20 years as a freelance professional musician and music educator, and now teaches music and drama in BC schools. She is also active as a choral director, performer and studio musician. Amir Haghighi was born in Tehran, Iran, and studied and sang traditional Iranian music from his youth. Since moving to Canada in the 1980s, he has been a composer and soloist for various professional musical ensembles across Canada. He currently teaches voice in the Lower Mainland. Amy & Amir live in Burnaby with their son, Youssof, who is also embarking on a professional music career.
