One of the biggest challenges of our time is the changing climate which is often called an existential threat to humanity. This presentation will review the science of climate change and the principles in the Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed Faith that are the healing medicine for this illness. Vignettes of \u2018Abdu\u2019l-Bah\u00e1\u2019s life and his writing will be presented which illustrate spiritual principles that guide humanity to live in harmony with the planet. The audience will be asked to reflect on how his actions and writing inspire them to make changes in all walks of their life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Presenters:<\/strong> Kim Sutherland has been a Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed for 45 years and has worked for over 30 years as an environmental scientist and Agrologist (professional agriculturalist). She has worked 20 years as a Regional Agrologist for the Province of BC working with farmers, local governments and, among other things has been involved in helping farmers adapt to climate change. She is a long-standing member of the Mission Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed community. She has given many public talks on agriculture and has integrated the Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed teachings into her public presentations and into her professional life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Cheryl Vinchoff has been a Bah\u00e1\u2019\u00ed for 29 years, served on various institutions and is currently a member of the LSA of Chilliwack BC and representative for \u1e24uq\u00faqu&#8217;ll\u00e1h.
