The Regional Schools Coordinating Committee is thrilled to announce an upcoming Baha’i school event in the Fraser Valley!
Date and Time: Friday, June 26th, 5:00 PM – Sunday, June 28th, 9:00 PM
Location: Camp Whonnock (27660 Dewdney Trunk Rd, Maple Ridge, BC V2W 1Y9)
Theme: Fostering the Spiritual Health of Families and Communities
Please note, registrations will close once we reach full capacity (160 participants) or by May 4th, whichever comes first.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee helps cover the cost of the program, venue rental, materials, and meals throughout the weekend, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
The fee is generally non-refundable, except in cases of extenuating circumstances such as hospitalization or a death in your immediate family. If the event fully covers its costs, partial or full refunds may be offered for other situations.
All children aged 0-4 can attend free of charge, as long as they are accompanied by a parent or guardian. However, they must still be registered on the form. All minors (aged 19 and under) can only attend camp if they are accompanied by an adult, who is able to be responsible for them for the duration of the school. For any minor who is attending with an adult who isn’t their legal guardian, a waiver form must be completed and signed by the minor’s legal guardian before attending the school.
- Whole weekend (Friday, Saturday and Sunday):
- 5-10 years old: $100 per person
- 11+ years old: $150.00 per person
- Saturday only rate:
- 5-10 years old: $45.00 per person
- 11+ years old: $95.00 per person
- Sunday only rate:
- 5-10 years old: $45.00 per person
- 11+ years old: $95.00 per person
Accommodation:
There are three options for overnight accommodations at Camp Whonnock: cabins, tents, and sleeping in your car. Cabins are shared, split by gender, and accommodate multiple guests. The tent spots are spread out in the forest area of the camp. Sleeping in your car is also permitted at no cost. The associated accommodation fee covers the entire duration of your stay.
If you’re attending as a family or group of friends and would prefer to be in a separate cabin together, please send us an email—we’ll do our best to accommodate your request. Cabin availability will be made on a first-come, first-served basis.

- Tents: $50.00 / tent
Transportation:
Bus transportation will be provided on Saturday to shuttle participants from Camp Whonnock to Rolley Lake. This transportation is intended only for travel during the program and not for bringing participants to or from the event at the start or end of the weekend. Exact departure times will be shared closer to the event.

We will provide some vegetarian and gluten-free options. If you have any other dietary concerns please bring your own supplementary meal and snack items.
