The beautiful Christina Lake Community Hall is located at the warmest tree-lined lake in British Columbia, with a stunning setting, and a meditation garden space at venue. It is wheelchair accessible.
Program:
This school is being designed for youth and adults. There are no children’s classes or junior youth program provided at this summer school. Parents must supervise their own children and are welcome to take them to beautiful Christina Lake beach and park, a short walk from the hall. Details of the program will be announced once confirmed. Updates will appear on this page.
Costs:
This school is being funded by DONATIONS (non-tax receipted) towards cost recovery. Please be sure to earmark your donations for the Christina Lake School and send your e-transfer to the Trail Local Spiritual Assembly at traillocalfund@gmail.com. Cash donations (non-tax receipted) will also be accepted on site.
Accommodations:
You will need to book your own off-site accommodation. You may find your own place to stay by searching online to find the various campgrounds, motels, RV parks and B’n’Bs found in either Christina Lake or Grand Forks. It is suggested other places are too far for convenient travel. The cost of accommodation is separate from your school registration.
Policies:
No smoking: The grounds and properties are smoke free.
Pets: Pets are to be on a leash or crated.
Photos: By attending this school you are authorizing to have your photo taken.
Volunteer service: In the spirit of service, volunteer sign up sheets will be posted for attendees to help contribute, making this a vibrant community experience. Assistance with clean-up or kitchen support will be appreciated.
Food Policy: We will provide some vegetarian options. If you have any other dietary requirements or specific dietary preference such as vegan, please bring your own supplementary meal and snack items.
REGISTRATION: The REGISTRATION DEADLINE is August 1, 2025 OR when capacity is reached, whichever comes first. Please be aware, as previously shared, this registration does not include accommodation. The primary registrant enters their contact information – then their email acts as the contact person for each person registered on the form. Please add all additional people you are bringing in your group, filling in details for each person. PLEASE include yourself – the primary registrant – AGAIN when you complete details for each in registration.
